Deena's Bad Day: the srs plot effort

I'm keeping this relatively sparse to avoid spoiling Marissa for the outcome of the still in progress House thread aka Meanwhile in Canada. Long story short: After having A Time dealing with their own trouble (but ultimately triumphing) in mid-October, Darnell and Sam have some time around the tail end of the month to tool around Houston. Darnell lives there for a portion of the year, and has family in the area; Sam has never been before (barring a brief stint when that recent trouble began!) and so remains pleased to have the opportunity to see around the city. They'll be stopping in at Deena's Walmart to pick up some normal groceries, etc.

What do we know so far? I'm sure to be forgetting things:

- A LOT of Deena's staff are adepts. They include a rage mage, a dipsomancer who's a bit of a wine aunt, and a rat mage from whatever that minor school was called.

- Deena's assistant manager is an Unspeakable Servant in a morph suit. It looks... fairly human, thanks to being on a plastic skeleton (to keep the right shape and range of motion) with make-up sponges hot-glued to the skull (to give the shape of facial features)

- Lunchbox Zero came in with a load of stock.... so what ought to have been washing machines or what-have-you results in a number of lunchboxes loose.

Infy was kind enough to volunteer to play the mechanomancer responsible, when Darnell, Deena & Co. track that person down in the sequel thread, which is bound to be ridiculous.

poor Brent with his journal hijacked for plots

Namely, the plots of Deena's Bad Day and Meanwhile, In Chicago.

Deena's Bad Day, we discussed a little... in the last post, over plurk, over text, and in-person, so this is my attempt to get everyone on the same page. I'm thinking it would be consisting of the Loathsome Lunchbox invasion, getting Deena, Darnell, and Sam and possibly one or two other individuals introduced to each other, and kinda-sorta allied. It's hard to spend a couple of hours cooperating to chase down little robots without finding yourself on fairly friendly terms (probably).

The aftermath of Deena's Bad Day would/could see Darnell investigating the origin of Lunchbox 0 (a statement which makes so little sense out of context, man) and eventually concluding it came from Chicago... where he should go continue his investigation, despite the fact Sam's warned her favourite checker away from Chicago.

"When you said I should stay out of Chicago... what part?"

That would be the point at which Sam directs Darnell to the Currans, (telling him to tell them she sent him and he's on the level) before showing up herself and passing word to Deena. Like Deena, their business serves as a neutral zone/safe space for the occult underground; since she's a friend of their family, she's willing to bank on their helping... at least to the extent of providing a place to meet up/work out of, and helping Darnell stay out of trouble.

Problem #1: Who is the clockworker responsible for Lunchbox 0?
Problem #2: Anybody volunteering to play the clockworker responsible for Lunchbox 0?
Problem #3, a problem for the characters: What to do with the clockworker responsible for Lunchbox 0? If, of course, he or she is successfully located. and not actually 200 bugs in a human suit, or something
