This is just to BS and start ballparking shenanigans, really.
We now have more than the couple of adepts I play, and, more importantly, we now have Marissa to bug.
Eyyy, look at me all late to the party and stuff. But so happy to be here at last!
I didn't know when they would happen, but I knew we'd see fingerguns sooner or later. Also, man, if it were quieter at my house this weekend I would be on A THREAD WITH DEENA like white on rice; as it is, we can start throwing around ideas and do a little Q&A?

L-LOL yeah . . . House thread is actually a really good example of rp'ing with me. 9,9 Manage a tag, oh hey a tag, TIME FOR A TAG...silence for a week or two. >,< Some of it's life getting busy, some of its my health hitting the shitter (which is does a LOT), some of it is OOH SHINY as something takes over my brain for a bit. Like a fic I just wrote this week. 9,9

Is there anything you'd like to do, or hope to do, though? I've joked about Sam getting Deena to warp her to visit Darnell and possibly introduce the two of them (since hey, they're both good people with similar interests so far as the safety of the general public and the discouraging of magical misbehaving) but IDK.
Mostly I want to show off the absolute craziness in her store and show how they might deal with a potential threat or actual threat. It's a bundle of magical kookiness. And of course the reactions involved from Darnell and Sam with that!

Well, since her Walmart's in Darnell's neighbourhood---or, more accurately, one of Darnell's neighbourhoods---our yahoos could be popping in for any reason. Hell, we could set something shortly after the stuff with FLAG because Sam could be stateside without having to make a special trip down.

HAH! Oh, Jean-Luc. He really is someone you don't go to unless you have NO OTHER choice.

He's done alright by Sam (and has REALLY motivated her to improve on her crappy, barely conversational French) but he remains a little too intense for her and kinda scary. She'll still crash at his place if she can't stay with Donna Cherry if she has to go to Montreal rather than spend money on a hotel if she doesn't have to, but that's facilitated by knowing she's got an in to his goodwill by being able to make his jerseys look like new.
